Plans and Design
Build a custom home from a plan you help design. Scott is a Certified Building Designer, and can help you bring your dreams to paper, and then to reality. Each homeowner is different and each home has its own personality. We enjoy the process of seeing a dream brought to life. To restate what we said earlier on the Custom Home page:
'At the very beginning of the process, in the planning stage, we will walk your lot with you to look for the best light for the home and to maximize your view and/or lot coverage. During the design phase, we draw a preliminary plan based on our meetings with you, and you have the chance to make revisions to the plans a few times before they are finalized. If you have us design your home, there is no charge to you for the plans if we build your home. We pride ourselves in being a full-service company. Though the majority of clients have us design and draw plans for them, some come to us with plans in hand. This is fine too!'
The beginning of a new project is often the most fun. As future homeowners realize that they will actually have a new, custom home very soon, they experience an excitement that is contagious. That is what makes it all worthwhile for us!
